2. Gorgeous pastry: Marakech, Morocco. This is actually pigeon pie, aka squab. It's baked in a flaky pastry that's a bit like phyllo dough; this one has cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top. Pastilla is its official name, and my stomach will singingly verify it is delicious.
3. Self-powered smoothie: Bergen, Norway. Earn that snack by pedalling the bike to generate the energy to run the blender. Those Norwegians are clever. No wonder they're all so svelte.
4. Lobster: Boston, Massachusetts. Also, New Hampshire. OK, I'll admit it, I ate four of them. I lost count. They were good. Leaves in New England were pretty. 'Nuff said.
