Garden Goodness

I went out to the garden to pick these
and was momentarily blinded by these.
Aren't they beautiful?
Our first crop ever.
From these five trees.
Sigh.  God is good.
On another note:  Garlic fries.  Kahuna and I shared a stack of these at the San Francisco Giants game the other night.  I've never made them myself.  Have you?  The closest I've come is these garlic mashed potatoes.  But I'd love to give the fries a try.
Because we have plenty of this (garlic).  Which could use a little weeding, I'm just now noticing.

I'll get right on it.  Right after I try a new recipe for strawberry shortcake.  See replies to post, below, for strawberry shortcake ideas.

Oh I'm so jealous of your artichokes! We got one very happy plant this year, and just picked up another one two weeks ago. I hope next year we will at least have a few. And your cherries are beautiful! I still have another year or two to wait for mine. :)

Now those are some gorgeous cherries, Lynn!!!

However, what I am truly in awe of is that perfect thistle. I've never grown artichokes, I'm not even sure they grow here, but I sure would LOVE to give it go after seeing THAT!!!

As for the garlic, you can send any you don't need this way:) Oh who am I kidding, who doesn't need garlic!!!

Thanks for sharing, Lynn...

I LOVE potatoes just about any way you can cook them but I've never had garlic fries and I think I need to!

I've already spoken to the husband about putting garlic in our next gardening effort!
