About Me
- Name: Lynn
I cook, bake, eat chocolate, and sneak out to Starbucks from northern California, where I live with my family. I wrote a book, Queen of the Castle: 52 Weeks of Encouragement for the Uninspired, Domestically Challenged or Just Plain Tired Homemaker, because I think running a home and loving your family is one of the most important jobs in the world. And some of us? Could use a little help.

oh yum!
Oh..those look great! You received an award from me..check out my latest post :)
Cherries are my love language. I wish the season were longer.
Why didn't I think of that?!
Oh my! I LOVE chocolate covered dried cherries - never thought about using fresh!
Made your garlic cheese bread recipe and used cinnamon sugar. On one pan I poured half the melted butter over and then sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. The second pan a melted the other half of the melted butter with 1/2 c. brown sugar and some cinnamon. I poured that in the bottom of the pan and laid the dough balls on top. After it baked I turned it upside down so the caramely stuff dripped down the sides. It was AWESOME. My kids absolutely devoured them!
And, on a completely different note, I made blackberry jam today and have deep red splatters all over the place. It looks like I murdered somebody in my kitchen.
What a delicious combination! And they look so pretty.
Yummm...I LUV cherries. Good idea to dip them in chocolate!!
Um, Yum!! Maybe raspberries too athough they may be a little too tender.
Any fruit even dried in chocolate is great.
OOOH! *nibblesnibbles ok. that was more like *gobblegobble
Thanks so much for the award, Libby :) Very sweet.
Karenpie, sorry to hear about your kitchen "crime scene" after the jam making excitement :) I'll bet the jam'll be good, though. And your cinnamon/sugar experiment, with the garlic cheese bread dough -- great idea. I'll bet that's a winner. And now I'm hungry. Really, really hungry.
OOOHH, chocolate dipped cherries sound delightful!
