About Me
- Name: Lynn
I cook, bake, eat chocolate, and sneak out to Starbucks from northern California, where I live with my family. I wrote a book, Queen of the Castle: 52 Weeks of Encouragement for the Uninspired, Domestically Challenged or Just Plain Tired Homemaker, because I think running a home and loving your family is one of the most important jobs in the world. And some of us? Could use a little help.

I had ONE little tomato that survived this year's really sad crop.
Sigh.
Oh Carpoolqueen, I feel your pain. I wonder why this was a bad year. If it's any consolation, we had zero plums from our two plum trees, and only about 10 peaces from our two peach trees :( Some years you just don't get much produce.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I've been working my way through Tyler's book, but I've been taking a break and doing other recipes for awhile. So many great cookbooks....so little time : ) Love the idea of your book, it looks really cute. My mom and I are making tomato recipes too. Canning them, soup, salsa, tomato sauce... Yum!!
These are some BEAUTIFUL tomatoes! Roasted tomato soup sounds fabulous.
These are positively GORGEOUS!
Oh,garden fresh tomatoes- love them! It was too hot and dry for my little plants to produce anything.
A beautiful picture of your tomatoes. I was feeling sorry for myself that we are just getting one or two at a time, but after reading your other comments, I guess I should just could my (meager) tomato blessings!
Oh those look so great!!
I wish I could send y'all some tomatoes. You know how some years you plant half a dozen plants knowing most of them will die and you'll be lucky to get a few ripe tomatoes? Well this year we planted seven plants, and (gulp) they are all flourishing. I am not complaining, mind you, but know that I REALLY TRULY MEAN IT when I say I wish I could send you some :)
That is a beautiful pic :)
